Znanstvena literatura o ljekovitim gljivama

Moderna istraživanja ljekovitih gljiva započinju 50-tih godina 20. stoljeća. Prema vodećem znanstveniku za ovo znanstveno područje i glavnom uredniku znanstvenog časopisa International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms, akademiku S.P. Wasser-u, ustanovljeno je ljekovito djelovanje oko 700 vrsta viših gljiva – u preko 50,000 objavljenih znanstvenih radova, nakon više od 400 kliničkih studija i preko 15,000 zaštićenih patenata. Istraživanje ljekovitih gljiva zapravo tek počinje – prema najboljim procjenama, uz prosječnu brzinu istraživanja u zadnjih 10 godina trebat će oko 4,000 godina dok dobijemo kompletnu sliku svih potencijala upotrebe ljekovitih gljiva u medicini. Zato ovdje slijedi tek ilustrativni popis znanstvene literature o ljekovitosti gljiva (uglavnom stariji “klasični” radovi do 2003. g – a u zadnjih je 10-ak godina znatno povećan broj istraživanja i objavljenih radova).
