MEDICINAL MUSHROOM PREPARATIONS
LENTIFOM, LENTRAM, POLYPORIN, SUPER POLYPORIN and AGARIKON are immunostimulative preparations containing medicinal mushroom extracts that are proven to have antitumor activity, without any toxic side effects.
Certain types of mushrooms contain a series of medicinal compounds, the most important of which are polysaccharides. These belong to the group of compounds called biomodulators, which act to modify biological responses. These compounds strengthen or restore the body’s defensive abilities, block tumor development and allow the body to successfully suppress disease on its own. They also improve tolerance to chemotherapy and radiation, while also enhancing their effects. Polysaccharides and other compounds from medicinal mushrooms have been proven to have a high or very high rate of inhibiting the growth of various tumors, and a significant effect in their complete regression if they are taken in the early stages. These compounds strongly stimulate the ability of defensive cells to recognize and kill tumor cells, and activate a series of other complex immunological defense processes. This helps to strengthen the body’s ability to block tumor growth and/or even cause it to reduce in size or regress completely.
