- The Constitution of the Republic of Croatia guarantees all citizens the right to health, which necessarily implies the right to be informed about different approaches and possibilities of health protection, and their practical application. For many years, the World Health Organization has also recommended, in addition to official Western medicine, the use of other (expertly and scientifically) proven experiences and methods from various civilizations for the preservation of human health.
- We take no responsibility for any damages that might arise through the independent use of medicinal mushrooms based on the information provided on this website, even though this information is compiled and considered carefully and with the best of knowledge at hand. When original medicinal mushroom preparations produced by the company DR MYKO SAN – HEALTH FROM MUSHROOMS are used as prescribed, we guarantee only the health suitability of the products, pursuant to the regulations on health suitability of food items and general use items.
- The medicinal mushroom products of the company DR MYKO SAN – HEALTH FROM MUSHROOMS are not registered pharmaceuticals nor registered medical products in the sense of valid Croatian laws and procedures before the Croatian Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices. Though such products are medicines in both traditional and contemporary Chinese and Japanese medicine, based on millennia of tradition and exact scientific research (with results accumulating in the world’s largest databases, now available via the internet, and patent files), and in fact have such an effect, and though their effects are commonly much wider and more comprehensive than many specialized medical products used in Western medicine, in the sense of the current Croatian legislation and practice, these products may be labeled as health food or as a natural additive to the diet. In line with contemporary international terminology, these products can also be labeled as nutraceuticals.
- Due to the fact that in serious chronic disease with significant tissue and organ damage, particularly in the most serious malignant diseases such as cancer or AIDS, no responsible person today can guarantee in advance that the patient will be cured, or that the disease will regress or be halted, and no person is authorized on behalf of the company DR MYKO SAN – HEALTH FROM MUSHROOMS to give such promises. Our staff is permitted only to provide potential customers with explanations and information on the traditional experiences in the use of medicinal mushrooms, the results of scientific research and the practical experience of this company in the application of its own medicinal mushroom preparations.
- No one is authorized on behalf of the company DR MYKO SAN – HEALTH FROM MUSHROOMS to advise customers, or even to support them, to withdraw from the currently official medical treatment, particularly with respect to malignant diseases (and especially in cases where the need for a surgical procedure is warranted. The medicinal mushroom preparations of this company are treated as an additional measure, even in situations when it is assessed with a significant degree of certainty that these preparations can have a better impact that certain measures of official medicine at their current level of development. The reasons for such an approach are as follows: firstly, it is impermissible to be co-responsible for a patient receiving an important medical procedure too late, or not at all; secondly, Japanese and Chinese clinical tests have shown that the synergistic effects of official medicine and the use of compounds from medicinal mushrooms is often times better that the individual use of one or the other (i.e. chemotherapy and radiation combined with the appropriate polysaccharide from medicinal mushrooms); thirdly, the compounds from medicinal mushrooms help to alleviate and remove the effects and damage caused by aggressive medical procedures such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. From such an approach, it can be seen that in the event that we are not satisfied with a particular measure of official medicine or we suspect its justification and effectiveness, the most we may do is to advise the patient to obtain a second or third opinion.
